The Tradition of Boxing Day Dip
The Boxing Day Dip is more than just a daring plunge into the cold waters of the North Sea. It’s a celebration, bringing people together to share in an unique experience whilst raising money for Charity.
There are Boxing Day Big Dips up and down the East Coast of England, many with their own traditions and are fantastic community events, with ‘dippers’ dressing up in festive outfits or fancy dress costumes. What better way to be reinvigorated after the Christmas indulgence!
Whether you’re setting yourself a personal challenge or ending the year with a sense of adventure, come to the Beach House Hotel and join in with us, raising money for Children’s Cancer North. We’re welcoming people from 11.00am at the Beach House to start your dip and afterwards, we’ll be providing a complimentary hot cuppa to help warm you up.
